Question: I've had strep for about five days now, if that is relevant. Woke up yesteday with mucus in my left eye, figured it wasn't that out of the ordinary. Washed it out best I could. Later I came back and had to wash more out. I used some visine that is years old and it stung like hell, but it took the redness away, for a few minutes. All day my left eye was weeping and full of snot. Woke up just now and my eye is all red, and I can only open it halfway, and the image is all blurry because it's all watery. What the hell is going on!?!

You may have pink eye or adenovirus of the eye. Either way you should see your doctor as they are both VERY contageous.
That's pretty gnarly. You should probably go to see the doctor soon.

You have pink eye dont touch or rub get antibiotics it will last for bout aa week. and listen carefully. it is i repeat it is very very contagious.

Sounds like conjunctivitis a bacterial eve infection. You need to see a doctor and get erythromycin eye ointment or drops. It is highly contagious and will spread to the other eye if you are not careful.
