Why are my eyes burning?!
Question: lately i've been noticing my eyes burning a lot. i can't tell if it's light related cause it happens under different and even low light settings, and i kind of notice when i'm reading or starting at a paper for too long i'm like owww. and i don't wear contacts or anything. it's annoying.

It's because when you are intently doing something that requires alot of concentration you don't blink as much, when you don't blink as much your cornea doesn't get lubricated by your natural tears so the lens of your eyes dries out and then the main symptoms from there? Burning eyes. Use some OTC drops like soothe (walgreens, rite-aid) or systane when your studying or reading for long periods of time and remember to blink!. Good luck
It's probably eyestrain, but also it is winter and the air is much drier this time of year because the heat is on and the winds are bitter and cold. Try some artificial tears, and give your eyes frequent breaks from reading.
