Is it normal to have headaches from new eye glasses?!
Question: i'm near sighted and just started wearing glasses but pretty much only to drive at night...the problem is, i think they're giving me headaches...is this normal, will it go away...any suggestions???

Yes it is very common and it "will" go away.
I am near sighted too. I remember when I first tried on my glasses for the first time I almost got dizzy. I used mine for driving and would put them on when I started out. When I started getting dizzy or sick to my stomach I would take them off. Each day I could drive a littler further until it stopped bothering me all together.
Have you noticed how bright all the colors are when you have your glasses on? It is amazing what we have been missing. :-)
I think your eyeglasses is not the right one for you. Or you may have been wearing it too long.
No, it's not really.
Maybe it's your eyes getting used to being able to see properly, but if it doesn't settle down go back to the opticians. Maybe the prescription is slightly wrong.
Likewise with me when i wore my new glasses for long periods of time, i got headaches, i went to my optitians and they said it was because my eye were jst adjusting to the glasses, or sumthing like that, anyways the headeaches went away after about 2 weeks

Seriously...don't wear them all the time. You're just going to mess your eyes up. Only wear them when you really need to (driving, etc). You've been warned. Take my advice or regret it in the future. Good luck.
When it happened to me I went back to my doctor. He went to the place I had them made and had them use the same manufacturer who had made my previous ones and when the new lenses came I had no more problems.
When I first got my glasses, im near-sighted too, they sort of hurt my eye's when i took them off. Jsut very slightly. It may just take time getting use to them. I wear mine all the time now and it doesn't happen anymore.
yeah i'm near sighted to and when i first got mine i had headaches. I't's normal because your eyes have to get used to the perscription.
