What Will happen if you put food coloring directly in to your eye?!

Question: i was dared 2 do this once n it stung bad but had my eye colored blue for about a week, ouch!!!!!!!!!

I don't think anything bad. I remember one time this kid had contacts and dipped them in red dye and put them in. NOthing bad happen except it looked creepy and he couldnt see too well (blurry) till it came out
