What is my visual acuity (or whatever 20/20 is...)?!

Question: I went to the eye doctor today and got my prescription updated. It got stronger, but I forgot to ask what my vision actually is without glasses.

Is there any way to tell my vision from my prescription? It's a distance prescription (I'm near-sighted) of OD -5.50 and OS -5.75. Both are "Spherical" numbers, none of the other things are filled out but "Cylinder" has lines through it.

If my vision can be estimated from that by anyone on this site, thanks in advance! Otherwise I'll try to remember to ask him when I go back in a week.

After doing a lot of searching for someone on a similar question, I found a site that can give you a close idea of what it is:

Hope that helps.

OD-5.50= 20/700 and OS-5.75=20/750.

Yes that is insane and the 5.75 and 5.50, thats the strength of the lens. So both of them are very strong lenses.
