Eye surgery; what do you recommend?!

Question: My eyes are getting worse, so I decided to have a surgery (I don't want to wear glasses.)

I know there is "Lasic" surgery. What are the pros and cons of the it? And is it true that if I have it, then my eyes will become permanently good?

What other surgeries do you recommend, besides the Lasic?

Thank you!

I wouldn't recommend it, but it's your choice.

Pros:
Your sight will get better and you'll no longer need any glasses or contacts.

Cons:
According to the 'Review of Optometry' journal, up to one in six people who undergo laser surgery end up with complications that affect their eyesight. These include distortions of vision, such as irregular astigmatism, which cannot be corrected by glasses. Other patients simply experience a deterioration in their quality of vision or serious 'dry-eye' syndrome.
I've also heard that people see double.

And not permanently, I had an aunt who got Lasic surgery, her sight was better for about 5 months and then started to get astigmatism back

I don't know about other surgeries, but I've heard that you can improve it naturally

I can't think of another surgery for the eyes that work as well
as Lasik. My daughter went from 2500 each eye myopia
to 20/20 each eye. From Coke bottom bottle glasses to Just
A Pair of Sun Glasses which were super cool!
I would not wait if you can afford the surgery, everyone that I have talked to are very pleased. I understand it only takes about 15 minutes an eye, and you don't feel a thing.

I would try other alternatives first. Have you considered vision therapy? It may be able to correct your vision with out the need for such an invasive surgery.
