Contact Lenses Question?!

Question: My prescription has been a -1.50 for a very long time in both eyes. I went to the eye doctor this weekend and it has now changed to a -1.75 in my right eye. Does that mean my vision has gotten worse or better in that eye? Thanks

It means that your vision has gotten slightly worse but only very slightly, my optician has always maintained the view that a change like that is not really a significant change, i.e. i was told i could continue wearing my glasses with the non-changed prescription unless my eyes got even worse! Although, thats probably a bad reflection on my opticians lol! But i changed to contact lenses from my glasses anyway, and with that tiny prescription change, i didn't notice a difference in my sight anyway

just a little worse. not much

Your vision got worse. The higher the number, the worse the vision is. So a -4 is much worse than a -2.5, etc.

no the normal eye sight is 0.00. i have -6.50. ive been wearing contacts for 4 months now. if it has lowered it means your eyes are getting damaged somehow, maybe from too much television, or maybe just wearing your contacts too much. consult your optician and he should be able to tell u more.

Apawa.

Slightly higher but is ok as it is very little only. I used to have -800degree.
