Would you buy prescription glasses online?!

Question: & from where?

Answers: & from where?

You might get glasses on-line if you already have glasses and want a second pair for a spare, or just a different style, or if you've got contacts and you want a cheap pair of glasses for those times when you don't want to bother with putting in your contacts. You will need a valid perscription. The only part that might be a problem is getting the frames to fit properly, it is kind of unfair to take them to a local shop and expect the people there to do adjustments on glasses they didn't even sell. If you wear a really strong perscription, the fitting needs to be pretty precise to minimize distortion, eye strain etc so, you might want to stick with a local shop. The place I've heard of is Zenni optical, I'm certian there are others.

only if I dropped mine and broke
if the eyeglass prescription is more than 2 years old, I would go back to the optometrist.

NO, they need to be fitted to be sure they are correct for you. You can ruin your eyes if it's wrong. Besides you need to know what you're getting.

No way. I'd rather see them in person and see if they are a good fit. It is important to have someone with you to advise on how they look on you. It is much better to put them on and see how they fit.

No! You need to have them properly fitted, measured and adjusted by a licensed optician. Also you need to be able to take them back if there's ever a problem and occasionally for readjustments.
