Plz help me!!!!!!!!!!!!?!
Question: OK, I bought a pair of contact lenses n i was about to wear them but i dropped them on the floor which was wet!! can i wear them now!! cuz i've heared that if there is water on ur contact lense it can make u blind!! wat am i supposed to do?? are they gonna make me blind or something if i wear them??

I've worn contacts for the last 3 years of my life.
Obviously getting water in your eye won't make you go blind, or else you would go blind taking a shower, swimming, etc...
There might be crap on the floor that makes your eyes itch, so hold the lens between two fingers and squirt the thing with solution for a second then put it in your eye.
I drop them all the time, i've lost them in the sink, on the floor, everywhere and i've only gotten an infection/irritated eye 2 times. Both times, the irritation was gone in a day, and eye drops clear it up.
Nothin to worry about, you don't have to buy new ones, its not a big deal.
well since they fell on the floor i would soak them overnight again just to prevent infection, but no water isnt bad wont make you go blind
Oh, I thought it was it was something else you do that makes you go blind.
do not put them in your eyes as there could have been all sorts of nasty stuff in that water which could damage the delicate surface of your eye! put them in solution for the recommended time if they are re useables or use a new pair if they are dailys !
What you should do is call your doctor or the place where you got your contacts
Don't wear them! I don't think it'll make you blind (there's H2O in the contact fluid) but if it's fallen on the floor, there could be something tiny on it that you can't see and your eye can get infected - REALLY annoying! Just take out a new one or rinse this one in the contact lens fluid before you put it in, at the very least!
OK, No you will not go blind. I have dropped my contacts plenty of times in some water. I have actually soaked my contacts in water because I ran out of solution for a day. But nothing happened. Just make sure you soak your contacts real good.
Simply rinse them with your contact solution a tad bit and wear em,they will probably be ok rinsed in water alone .Don't even trip on it.
