The main reason could be your eyes are extremely tired. When you're wearing contacts, and your eyes become red, the first thing to do would be to immediately take off your contacts, and let them soak in their solution for at least 6 hours. This also assures the contacts get clean, in case they've gotten dirty. Also, if you have disposable lenses, I can't stress this enough: make sure you throw away your lenses at the right time! Normally, it's every 2 weeks. If you are using your contacts longer than 2 weeks, dust and small particles will settle on the lens, and can no longer be cleaned by the solution.

Putting on your lens is very simple. Here's what I do:
When you have your lens rested on your finger (I keep it on my right index finger), make sure it's curved upwards. If the top edge of the lens is curved outwards, the contact is inside out, and you'll need to flip it. If you put a flipped contact in your eye, it can be very painful (but you can also tell, because you won't be able to see clearly). If the contact that's on your finger is flipped correctly, use your right middle finger (under the eye), and your left middle finger (on top of the eye) to make your right eye wide enough to pop the lens in. If done correctly, the contact will stick to your eye. Blink a couple times, and it should be settled. For the left eye, do the same thing. (I keep it on my right index finger as well) Make sure it's not flipped. Once you're certain it's not flipped, use your right middle finger (under the eye), and your left index finger under your left eyelashes (it may sound weird but it works). Make your eye wide, and pop the contact in, and blink a couple times. It should be settled. I've been wearing contacts for a year now, and have been using this method since.

Hope it helps. Good luck!

It can mean that either you need to rest your eyes for a while, that the lenses are dirty, or no longer good, but I would advice you to rest your eyes for some-time.

Did u change the solution brand recently after the 4 month? It might be becos that the solution is not suitable for the contact lenses material. Certain brand of solution doesnt go well with sum contacts.
