Am I qualified for Laser Vision Correction?!

Question: If I'm 23, and was looking for Lasik vision correction..and at the Herzig site..I saw this for the requirements:
"must have stable vision in both eyes for at least one year prior to the procedure;"

what does this mean? i've had bad vision since I was about 8...does this mean I'm not qualified? I can't do the procedure?

stable vision means that your vision or prescription cannot change. for example: say you went to the eye doctor and got checked and he hands you a prescription it says +3.75-.50x130 ou but last year it read +3.50-.50x130 ou your vision has changed one quarter diopter within that year then you can't get correction go get a record from your eye doctor and you should ask if you are a candidate for this procedure.

All this means is your eyes should stop developing before you go ahead with the operation. I'm 17 and wear glasses and desperately want laser vision correctment but cannot go ahead as my eyes are not yet 'stable'.
My optician told me your eyes usually stop developing between the ages of 18-21, but of course everyone differs. You should go for it I think, laser vision treatment is so cheap nowadays, less than a grand for both eyes! and they'll do a check-up during your consultation anyway to see if your eligible.
Hope this helps :D

yes u qualify
