Question: If I wanted to get an eye exam who would I call? The Vision Center or the Optometrist at Walmart? How much will a typical eye exam cost?
My sister and I both got contacts there at separate times. They gave me the most expensive contacts and gave her the cheaper ones. Can I choose which brand of contacts I want?

A typical eye exam at Wal Mart (for contacts) is $75, in the U.S. You will get your prescription for contacts and glasses also. You usually can't choose the kind of contacts you want, unless the Doctor gives you that option. It depends on your prescription, the measurements from your eyes, etc. so you may be limited. Sometimes the Dr. will give you an option of a couple brands, and your vision will be clearer with one, or one may be more comfortable than the other.
Call Wal- Mart and ask.
For an eye exam call the optometrist. In Canada, I think it is $60.
