Sort of depends on what you mean by turns, and your age. Assuming low to mid teens, if the eye drifts out, that's different than if it drifts or moves in. One, it doesn't see 'right', and the other would be that it's working so hard to see at distance that it thinks it's trying to read (all that energy it needs to just 'see') and moves in like looking at something close up.

Either way you don't HAVE to wear glasses. The glasses won't take away any amblyopia or lazy eye thing, and you've become used to not using them to read anyway. Eventually, as you read more, as in late high school or college, you'll find that glasses really do help.

wear glasses for a while and then ask your optical if u can wear contacts

im not exactly sure,
normally you should be okay with contacts,
but in your case i don't know, sorry.

but have you considered laser eye surgery?

Wear glasses for a while. You can get really stylish frames from almost anywhere so they look attractive on you.

My mom got lasek a few years back. It's really not that expensive and it will cost less than visual therapy, that's for sure. Perhaps you should look into it. :)

ask the dr

You left a lot out of your question, and you're best off asking your doctor.

Does your eye turn all the time? Is your vision reduced in that eye? Does your glasses prescription include prism to reduce the eye turn?

If your eye turns all the time, he may have included prism, so contacts would not work, but vision therapy might. Most ophthalmologists are convinced vt does not work.

If you want a second opinion, you should seek it from another ophthalmologist or optometrist.

Some people's eyes turn because of muscle problems (may need vision therapy) or because of focusing problems (may just need to wear correction). Some people's eyes only appear to turn when there may some other face asymmetry. This is not a determination we should make on Yahoo! Answers.
