Answers: can you give me some informations about this kinda situations

Ablative types of treatment for ocular tumors vary. Usually a laser is used to cause thermal damage to the tumor (cook it). Sometimes cryo or freezing is used to ablate a tumor. Another way is to use radiation of some type such as x-rays or a proton beam or other radiation plaque or type of devise.

The follow up will involve making sure the thing doesn't regrow. They'll do photographs, angiograms to see if the vascular supply is compromised. May use fluorescein which is a dye that lights up with blue light, or may use ICG dye to evaluate circulation deeper behind the retina or beneath the Retinal pigment layer. Ultrasound is used to document size and shape as well as tissue characteristics. It's used to differentiate melanomas from hemangiomas for instance. The newer OCT imaging may also be used to get a cross sectional picture of the cellular structure of the tumor. Sort of uses light and analyzes it as sound.

If it's localized, and ablated, the ordeal is over. Just the follow ups should be continued, like forever.
