Contact lens?? answers needed ASAP.?!

Question: im 14 and got my contacts about a week ago. i went 3 days in a row to take that little class and well my mom has had contacts before and so he let me go home with them, as long as he could put them in for me. the first night i had them, i couldn`t get them out, so i slept with them and just put solution in my eyes in the morning. i slept a total of 2 nights with them in. i ended up crying them out when i like rubbed my eyes and they popped out. my right one folded over and i just pulled it out. I have been trying to get them in for a couple days and just don`t know how!! i have the coopervision Toric lenses if that matters.. he told me that they are somewhat thicker than other lenses, so i should look down when putting them in.. why??!! my mom got me one of those suction things for inserting and removing the contact.. is that the way to go?? i need answers ASAP please..

toric lenses are tear drop shaped. the top is the thinner part and the bottom of the tear drop is the heavy part. Place the heavy end on the tip of your finger. Hold your eye lid open by hold in back your eye lashes and the bottom lid down with the hand holding the contact. Look over the mirror. The mirror should lay flat on a table. When you bring the contact close to your eye it should be in the center of your eye. Look directly at the contact. Bring the contact in and touch your eye.Turn in circular motions like you are doing an outline of your eye. If the contact stays on your eye then close your eye. DO NOT BLINK.hold your eye closed and pat your eyelid .This will remove the bubbles. Some times if you look all around when you insert the contact it helps too but do the same thing by closing your eye and pat. To remove the contact hold your lower lid down and place your finger right on the color of your eye and pull or slide the contact down. DO not let go.While holding the contact down bring in your thumb and slightly pinch the contact lens. Some times it is easier to pull the contact toward the inside of your eye or towards your nose. push the lens over to the edge of your eye as much as you can and with your fore finger and thumb pinch the lens and pull out. Don,t blink or let go because the contact will float back to the center of the eye. good luck.

first of all just keep trying 2nd i dont no

I remember when I first got contacts that it took like 20 minutes to put them in and take them out! have patience and have your mom work with you! eventually you will train your eyes to stay still and it will take no time at all....

as for those suction things I have never heard of them and no one i know with contacts uses them so i dont think that they are something that would work but once again i dont know anything about them. I would just use your fingers if i were you, unless your fingernails are super long.

i have the same lenses as you, and when i first got them i came across the same problems when they flip over you must make sure that the are the right way... trust me you will know if they arent.. they will sting if they are backwards. looking down does really help the first few times you put them in... also try blinking a few times before you actually put them in .... sounds odd but it does help ...... good luck

To remove contact lenses, look upward or sideways while you pull down on your lower eyelid. With a finger, gently maneuver the lens onto the white of your eye. There, you can very gently pinch the lens together with your index finger and thumb and lift it off the eye.
