My eyes see double even when I look Thur one eye?!
Question: I have had to wear eye glasses most of my life and as a child I had to wear a eye patch on my right eye due to a "Lazy eye" on my left.
The blurring and double vision only happens when my eyes get tierd or my blood pressure goes way up. But my Optimolgist ( eye doctor with a MD ) said it IS NOT POSSABLE to see double thru one eye unless I had cadraics But he also said I was to young for cadraics, He offerd up no explaination

The short and truthfull answe is FIND a diffrent doctor. What they said to you is your lying and they do not know.

you need to make a app. with a good eye spec.
Maybe you are not describing what you see correctly. Did the Doctor look into your eyes? Cataracts are usually in older people, but he could see them if they were forming.
RELAX! If he has not thoroughly examined you, it's time he did, or get a second opinion.
Seeing double with one eye covered or shut and the other eye open is not a good thing. If this is true then you should be seeing triple when both of your eyes are open. One image in your one eye and then two images in your other eye. If you are seeing double with one eye you need to go see another doctor because there has to be a reason for this.
