Today just about everyone can wear contact lenses, and there are more healthful and convenient contact lens options than ever before. Contact lenses are used to correct the same conditions that eyeglasses correct. For all details, information and remedies about contacts check out http://use-contactlens.blogspot.com/

Contact lenses are safe to your eyes it they wouldn't then they wouldn't sell them.
I prefer wearing contacts then wearing my old out of fashion eye glasses.
I'm pretty sure once you get contact lenses eye exam they will show you how to put them on, it's not that hard and it's quick to get used to them.

It's not good at all.... There is a very small mount of oxygen coming to your eyes when you wear them...
It's not good to have a "foreign subject" in your eyes, you know :)

well some ppl are able to accept contact lens's some ppl dont...whenever you wear a contact lens and your eyes start to feel itchy, uncomfortable, watery, and become red..than it dont fits you..if nothing happens and you can see clearly now..than wooh hooh!

i've been wearing contact lens for years and it didn't do any damange to my eyes at all. it's really safe. i advise to try to wear soft lens instead of hard lens. soft lens are more comfortable.

I've worn soft contact lenses for over 20 years with no problems. When they are properly cleaned they are safe and comfortable. They aren't for everyone, however, and your eye doctor will help you determine which kind (if any) are for you. They might even be able to provide you with a sample pair that you can try out before you purchase more.

They are perfectly safe as long as you take good care of them (proper cleaning/storing, changing to a new pair as directed, etc.)

Once your eyes become adjusted to wearing contacts, they should be super comfortable. Adjusting to them can take up to 2 weeks, so be patient with yourself. You will also have to practice inserting/removing your contacts; that too will take time, but you will get better at it the more you do it. Your eye doctor will train you on everything you need to know when/if you decide to go for an appointment. Inserting/removing the contacts will probably be the most difficult thing for you, and it's not really that hard to do at all.

Your eye doctor will provide with a trial pair of contacts to wear for a 2 week trial, if he feels that you are a good candidate for contacts. Wearing that pair for 2 weeks will help you decide if you like contacts, and would like to order your own, and continue wearing contacts.
