Yearly is best, especially if you notice any changes in your eyesight. Most prescriptions are only good for a year, which means if you want more contacts you have to go back regularly.

i think you only need yearly exams

it should be checked regularly like for the first 4 weeks and then check up again every 5 or 6 months after that
i got yearly sometimes, but sometimes every two years

i go to my optician once a year. he does the fitting and checks to see if my vision has changed

Yea you have to go annually. Your eyesight shouldn't change that often. (I have contacts and my appointments are once a year)

You have to go once a year or you may not get your prescription refilled. I have found with contacts the prescription rarely changes.

not sure about the fittings, but if you have not had your eyes checked in a year already then you should go for another visit! And while you are their ask them about the fitting.

Yes, yearly! It also depends upon the type of contacts you have, how well you care for them, and how often you blink. (yes, blink) If there are any changes your Dr. should tell you if you need to come in more often or not.

You should have your eyes checked every year, the health of the eye changes with in a year if any. If you are a contact lens user, you need to have the fittings done yearly, and the Dr. also checks if you are developing any ulcers. Normally, your optometrist will have you do a 2 week follow up, if he puts you in a different contact, that he has not seen you in. I work for an optometrist, and it is scary on how people treat there eyes

The fitting really only needs to be done when you have your regular eye exam. I don't think pupil sizes really changes; just your vision itself is what changes. So unless you have really bad eyesight, or notice changes before one year, going once a year should be just fine.
