i use my index finger to slide it to the side(away from your nose) and grab it with my thumb and index finger. it freaks me out to do all the eyelid stuff

with one hand pull your lower eyelid down, and open your eye as wide as possible. with your other hand slide your contact down with your index finger and then with the side of your index finger and thumb grab either side of your contact and slowly bring your thumb and index finger together, it should come right out.

be patient it takes some practice

I had trouble taking my contacts out @ first too...I find that holding your eyelid down keeping your eye wide open and using your thumb and index finger works best in taking them out. Just grab the sides of the contact and bring your thumb and index finger together and the contact will just pop right out...hope this helps

Pull your lower lid down you may need both hands at first I now only use one. Pull lower lid down and with your index and thumb gently squeeze but not all the way just enough to hold the contact and take it out. If you look up and slide the contact down first it may work better for you. You'll get the hang of it just be patient

Like everyone says, PATIENCE is the big key. I tried moving the contact over to the white of the eye as others have recommended, but that didn't work for me.

What did work is to make sure your hands are washed and very dry, then open the eye wide with your opposite hand, and then with index and thumb, start to gently squeeze the contact together, using the soft pads of your finger and thumb, over your iris, bringing your thumb and index finger together. The contact should just come out and off into your finger and thumb.

It's important to GENTLY squeeze, and not to tense up and pinch rather than squeeze. I always take a deep breath and tell myself to R E L A X before removing my contacts. It really helps...
