What is happening to my eye when I leave my contacts in...?!

Question: For let's just say about a month's time or a little more than that, without taking them out at all. Then my eye starts to hurt because it can't breathe, and I can't be out in the sun because my eye starts to swell up and automatically closes. So what's actually happening to my eye? How bad is this?

This is bad. Your eyeball will form blisters. Your eyeball gets more oxygen from the air than from your blood like the rest of your body. You are suffocating them. You need to go see your optometrist before you cause major damage.

I have to agree with her. Do not play with your eyes honey that is dangerous, we only have 2 eyes and one chance to use them take care of them as much as possible.

u say it ur eyes couldnt breath.. it seems u had infection..it may cause corneal abrasions and ulcers ..
so u ahve to stop wearing ur contacts for a while..go to ur doctor and check ur eyes ..then if u want to wera contacts u have to wear it for short time
