Is it possible to have been wearing glasses/ contacts for a while?!

Question: and then one day wake up with perfect vision

Answers: and then one day wake up with perfect vision

If you get hit in the eyes, it's possible.

Your eyes can improve with time, it wouldn't just magically happen overnight.

In one word, no. If you do, it's actually likely a sign of a problem. A healthy eye (even if it is near or farsighted) will not spontaneously change it's optics without an underlying cause.

Maybe. its just a mistake that you wear that glasses or contacts if that happens. But impossible?

Yes, it is possible. Usually via surgery, but if you have a sudden change in your glass Rx you should get an eye examination. Problems such as diabetes can cause these shifts in your glasses correction.

not unless you freakishly grow or loose the millimeter perfect amount of cornea/lens needed to snap your vision back into focus, i suppose if you hurt or scratched your eye and you were so lucky that by coincidence the leftover extra density of your eye was the right thickness, but that's probably so unlikely it would be dubbed impossible, but then again the odds on winning the lotto on any given time you play are in the realm of impossibility in the states, keep hoping, or cheat fate and get laser corrective surgery!

impossible

I have worn contacts since I was a kid, and the prescription has, for years, gotten stronger and stronger. Last year, I went in for my annual exam and found out that my eyes were getting stronger on their own. The contacts I'd been wearing up until the previous year didn't allow enough oxygen into my eyes (and I don't take them out enough, I admit). The prior year, my doctor gave me a new kind of lens that allowed a lot more oxygen to my eyes, and that caused my vision to improve.

I don't know about overnight, but I was shocked to know your vision CAN improve after years of deteriorating.

no idea i have perfect eye sight
