Freshlook colorblends contacts??!
Question: Hey there,
I just got freshlook colorblends from my doctor....I had my eyes checked out and everything. How should I take care of them and usually how long do they last? I bought some optifresh replenish and contact holders. any ideas/help/suggestions/tips greatly appreciated=] THANKS! This is my first time wearing contacts.

I can't believe your eye doctor let you go without showing you how to properly care for your contacts, and explaining how long they are designed to be worn for.
Freshlook contacts are 2 week disposables, so after wearing them for 14 days, you need to change to a new pair.
As far as cleaning...the Opti-Free RepleniSH is a no-rub formula, meaning that you can rinse each side of the contact for 5 seconds with the solution, then put the contacts in the case with fresh solution. You can also use this solution, and rub the contacts. I prefer to do this, as it just seems a lot safer than only rinsing them. If you want to rub them...just put a few drops of solution in your palm, and rub each side of the lens for about 10 seconds, from the inside of the contact toward the outside. After doing that with both sides, rinse each side of the lens for 5 seconds with the solution, and then put them in the contact case with solution.
If you ever experience any dryness while wearing your contacts, get some eyedrops that are made for use while wearing contacts. Be sure that it says that somewhere on the box..."safe for use with contacts" or something to that effect. The eyedrops will help add extra moisture to your eyes, and help relieve some of the discomfort.
Didn't your eye doctor review the care and cleaning of your lenses?
Do you mean to say they gave you your contacts and never showed you how to care for them , and your eyes ?
That is a lot to try and tell you without having the visuals.
Take them back tomorrow and tell them to show you what to do with them.
They sold them to you, they are under the obligation to teach you everything you need to know.
There are monthly lenses? Do rub the lenses and soak them for at least 4 to 6hrs...wear them to maximun 12 hrs.
