Floaters in the eye?!

Question: I see those little stringy like pieces in my eyes (more in my left than right) all the time. Is it normal to see them everyday and more than once?

I see them constantly because I'm very near sighted. I see them very much when looking at bright solid things (like looking at a clear blue sky) I see all sorts of things like worm like objects, branches, and objects that honestly look like the human brain. It's not like looking at a light then looking a way and seeing sports. I see interesting designs. It's been so long and I kinda like seeing all these weird shapes haha. I asked my eye doctor about it about 10 years ago (at 11 years old) because I was so worried because it can be a sign of retinal detachment, and he said it is normal and that it would be more abnormal if I did not see them because of my poor eyesight. If you have very bad eye sight it is normal. You must watch for retinal detachment which is very serious. If you see any flashes of light get help immediately or you can go blind. Ask your doctor to make sure yours are normal like mine!

Everyone has floaters! Most people only see them with certain angles of light. If it worries you, go see an Opthamologist. Don't waste your money with an optrician.
