How to get rid of an lazy eye?!

Question: i have a lazy eye myself, causing it to turn outward occasionally. i had surgery on it, but it still turned. vision therapy works!! it has given me control over my lazy eye, so i can actually feel when it turns out. it takes about eight months, but it has completely gotten rid of my symptoms.

Surgery is the only thing that I know of that helps. Your optometrist would be able to tell you if you are a good candidate for it and should be able to advise you further.

I went to school with a girl who had it, and she no longer has it Thanks to surgery!!

cant...

Do you mean lazy (amblyopic) or turned (strabismic) eye. Eyes can be lazy or strabismic for various reasons and the treatment, if any, will depend upon the cause. If you are over age 18, there may not be an effective treatment.

Only an eye doctor who has examined your eyes can provide a useful answer to this question.

I've had surgery for this, cause when I look out of my left eye, both are lined up, but when I look out of my right eye, my left goes lazy... In the surgery they tighten the muscles behind your eyes, but for me there was a 15% chance of it being unsuccessfull- and it was unsuccessfull! I think if you are young enough, you can do little excercises- ask your eye doc
