Congrats that you are allowed to have them! But, dear girl, no one on here can tell you what kind of contacts to take. Sure they can tell you about personal experience (I have soft contacts now) but they don't know your eyes. Just go to a specialist, have him/her measure your eyes, and they can tell you exactly what kind of contacts you will need. Its what they are there for! Good luck with your new looks.
(: i wear Rigid Gas Permeable lenses. This is a type of hard lense and i've been wearing them for 3 years. My optician told me i can wear them for a total of 5 years. I only have to go check-up every 6 months. What's good about this lenses are that they helped to reduce my degree. Now my myopia's at a constant degree (: this is good but it cost a lot more than monthy soft contact lenses cos u can wear it for so long. however if u break them or lose them it's quite a pity. i think the best option is to get monthly lenses cos they're easy to take care of. a lot of my friends wear monthly lenses too. Dailies are quite expensive in the long run. oh and remember, by wearing lenses you are more prone to eye infection so get a brochure from your optician about care of the contact lenses and the eyes! (:
