Daily contacts or monthly? What's better?!

Question: I have been buying the month long wear contact lenses for at least 5 years. I find that they feel gritty and cloudy no matter how much I clean them, after the first week. I am wondering how others have found the daily disposable contact lenses in comparison with the monthly contact lenses? Were they easier? Better? Cheaper? Not worth it? Definitely worth it? Please share your contact lens experiences with me!

yeh i hated the monthly lenses i had before.. i like daily ones better so i exchanged my remaining lenses for the daily ones..

however, they're much more expensive!!

yes, daily ones are comfortable, more hygienic but then again.. more expensive..

i myself uses daily ones cos of the pros outstand the cons.. i cant stand dryness in my eyes that i usually get with monthly lenses..

get the daily ones for comfort and monthly one for budget..

well i use acuvue daily.. =D 4/5 thumb ups.. 1 down due to the price..

more expensive,
but better every other way.
get em at costco.
way cheaper!

I used both at one point. I much preferred the daily wear and my eyes didn't get that dried out feeling as easily. If you shop well, you can get the daily wears at a reasonable price. Just ask for your prescription and shop around. Good luck! It is well worth it!

Sounds like the daily wear contacts would do better for you. You wouldn't have to worry about cleaning them, and they wouldn't have time to get gritty, since you only wear them one day and toss them...

It probably will be a bit more expensive though. Check around online; you can get some really good deals most of the time. 1800contacts.com has great prices, and really fast shipping. They also offer mail-in rebates on various types of contacts.
