What is the cost of an eye doc exam and contacts? It would help if anyone had an!

Question: It will cost you about $100 for a comprehensive exam at the eye doc. That is without coverage. Contact lenses will be extra. You may want to look into a vision savings plan membership to reduce these costs by 60% or so. I recommend 2020vision4less membership. Make sure you have participating LensCrafters Pearle Vision or EyeMasters near you. Search by zip code or full address.

About 80 for a visit and 100-150 for contacts depending on the kind.

mine is about $150 for first exam and $300 for contacts but most places have sales and my insurance paid for it

I had my eye exam and contact lens fitting at a Wal Mart Vision Center, and it cost me $91 (I don't have vision insurance). This included the eye exam, contact fitting, one trial pair of contacts, a starter kit with solution and contact case, and my prescription.

The price of your contacts is hard to guess; it depends on what kind your eye doctor prescribes you. But you can get them a lot cheaper online, at sites like 1800contacts.com.
