How do you tell if you need glasses?!

Question: lately i've been having trouble seeing things at a distance and seeing some words in general like certain fonts and such. i was wondering if they are symptoms of needing glasses or perhaps just something to do with a cold or something else?

any thoughts would be appreciateed.

no cold or symptoms make you have trouble seeing things. You may have to go to an eye doctor and ask them to see if you need glasses. glasses aren't that bad. i got them last year when i couldn't see things from far away. I hope this helped :)

check it out with your eye doctor and if you don't have an eye doctor you can always just go to a lensecrafters in the mall or ask a friend for a reconmendation. it seems like you should need glasses for reading or distance glasses

Some things that could tell you that you need glasses--
squinting, itching your eyes, and they hurt sometimes

Yes, most likely you need glasses/contacts.
It will make you fee 1000% better to be able
to see things at a distance that others can't!

Hope i helped you! ?

Have your blood pressure checked. High blood pressure can cause blurred vision. Other than that go to the eye doctor and have your sight checked. I have had glasses for many years and had lasik about 6 years ago. Most of the time you do not know if you need glasses till someone tells you.

Compare your vision with a friend who has good eye sight. Point out when you are able to read road signs to each other.
Your vision typically degrades so slowly you can't even notice it. If you have a sudden noticable loss of vision it could be something else. Or your eyes have finally reached a point where your vision loss is perceptable to you.
I am not trying to scare you.... Go to the regular doctor and the eye doctor.

I was having trouble seeing the board at school. They have all white boards on my college campus and the black marker appeard gray and the red marker appeard pink. I coundnt see notes that were projected or even a clear view of my teacher. Once I got glasses it made SUCH a difference! I really think you should go to the doctor to get your eyes checked. It doesnt hurt, it doesnt take a long time and its not very expensive if you have good eye insurance. It will be worth it!
