Where are some good home remedies for an eye stye?!

Question: A stye is a infected oil gland. The oil gland has got blocked by solidified oil and become infected. The best treatment is heat.
Get a clean flannel and dip it into hot water- wring the excess water out and place over the affected eye (keeping the eye closed) Hold it there for a few minutes and gently massage or press the eyelids working from you nose to the outside.
The heat will melt the oils in the glands and the massage will press it out of the glands- if it has worked your vision will go all smeary/blurry. Do this morning and night for a few days and it'll start to get better.
:)

just read that message about pulling the eyelash out- DON'T!!! If you do you'll spread the infection and it will get worse!

a stye is like a spot. all you need to do is locate what eye lash is blocking the pore and pull it out. it will go down after that.

I went to the doctors and thats what he did. its just a blocked pore, keep it clean afterwards and it wont get infected.

I know it sounds really old wives tale-y
but rubbing a bit of gold on it if you have any helps me
^
gosh that sounds odd :L
