New vision perscription??!


Question: Could i have the wrong contact lense perscription??

When sitting at my computer looking through my contacts my icons seem to have a glare on them and i cant see them very good.

But when I have on my glasses without the contacts i can see perfectly fine

What could this be??

sounds like astigmatism. Your contacts are probably not corrected for it but your glasses are.

Astigmatism will give that glare you are describing.

Sounds like there may be an issue with the contact lenses.

You may have contacts designed for farsightedness when you really need nearsighted ones.

It is possible that while you are on the computer you are not blinking enough. While you are involed in writing or playing a game, alot of people tend to not blink enough to keep the lenses hydrated. A dry contact lens can distort what you see and this may be what's giving you the blur. Periodically take a break and blink a few times and/or use drops designed to refresh the eyes and rehydrate the contacts. Make sure the drops you get are compatible with contacts. Ask where you got the lenses what they recommend.
