Question: If you are an ophthalmologist like me and you have a patient who needs cataract surgery and has kyphosis to the degree he cannot lie on his back, what other position could be suitable for this operation?

If he can't lie on a flat surface because of his hunch-back, maybe you can use a Lazy-boy chair or an inner tube, or have sofa cushions wedged under him or something like that.

I'm not a doctor; it's just an idea.

If you were an ophthalmologist, you would know that answer.

OR, ask a fellow colleague who is more experienced.....actually, I send my patient to the colleague....

Perhaps, a seminar is available????

good luck
