What are some pros and cons of having contacts?!
Question: Well, I just got my contacts in 2007 and they are great!
Here are some pros to contacts:
1) Your prescription doesn't weaken as much as they do w/ glasses.
2) They are closer to your eye therefore covering it so you have 360 degree 20/20 eyesight.
3) You can't even feel them once they are inside your eye.
4) Depending if you think you look good w/out glasses, you look better.
5) In case you rip them, you can just open up a new packet and put them in rather than wait 2 weeks for new glasses.
6) AND TONS MORE!!!
Cons:
1) You can't sleep, shower, or swim with them.
2) It takes more time to put them in and take out than glasses.
3) They might get stuck in the corner of your eye.
4) It may hurt in the beginning.
5) They cost a litle more than glasses depending on what type you are using.
So as you see, the pros outweigh the cons! If you think you look good with out glasses, give contacts a chance! :)
