Couple questions about contacts lenses?!

Question: 1. What happens to your eyes if you wear 'month-contacts' a full day without putting them off?

2. If you wear 'moth-contacts' for over a month?

3. If you forgot putting them off, and slept a night (7 hrs) with them on?

4. Is it ok, to take nap (3 hrs) with contacts on?

5. Is it ok, to wear 'moth-contacts' everyday (not having a break day where you wear glasses for example?)

I hope you guys can help me, in plain/simple English, thank you for reading these too!

1. It depends. If you are talking about sleeping with them on I wouldn't. They get stuck to your eyes and they are hard to get off when you wake up. But if you don't sleep then you should be fine , unless you have dry eyes. If you do then put eye drops in.
2. They hurt more the longer you wear them. They start making your eyes dryer if you don't replace them. They have stuff that cleans them really well so you can wear them longer. I think its called enzyme remover by Alcon
3. When you wake up your eyes will be dry, and it will be hard to see and it will be hard to get them out.
4. Yeah, usually. When you get up it might be blurry or your contacts might move off your eye.
5. If you mean like never taking them off then don't. But you can wear them everday, just not everynight. Sometimes your eyes become dry espically if you just got contacts.

1. As long as you have good eye health to begin with, nothing will happen to your eyes. You are supposed to be able to wear them all day.

2. Not recommended.

3. Occasionally, it's ok...but not always. They'll be dry, but soak in solution and they'll be fine. Don't forget too often though!

4. Yes, but y ou may need drops in the refresh them.

5. Yes...but it's good to give your eyes a break occasionally.....

Best advice: Ask your eye doctor all these questions...he knows your eyes and what you c an and can't do to protect them.....

1)The eye will be red and dryness will set in.
2)for short term, there may not have effect, but for long term the eye health might be affected.
3)No, the eye health will be reduced as oxygen flow is greathly reduced.
4)Not really
5) Yes, it is ok, unless ur lenses is not comfortable int he eyes.
