Contacts???!
Question: Hi, so i really want contacts, but everytime i got to the eyedoctor and they give me them to put in i cant get them to go in becuase it hurts and they just wont seem to go in ...is there anyway to ready myself and make it hurt less so i can get them to go in???

When I first got contacts, the eye doctor had to put them in for me. For the first two weeks, I had a really hard time getting them in and out, and I didn't think I'd ever get used to them. After that, things were fine, and I've been wearing them for ten years now. So, I suggest talking to your eye doctor about it, and trying to relax. It will get better each time you get them in. The first time is the hardest part. See if you can convince the eye doctor to do it for you. Once they're in, you'll forget they're there.
they shouldnt hurt. if they hurt then youre just not ready for them yet.

Your opthamologist should be able to find a pair that fits comfortably . An optician should be able to help you with the insertion during your visit. Trying out contacts can take some time to get use to.Keep practicing!
