List of eye doctors in Greece?!
Question: A close relative is about to have eye surgery and we try to find the best surgeon. If anyone has a list of ophthalmologists in Greece and some background info it would be great.
Also, what questions should we ask to find out his competency on this type of surgery?

Depending on the nature of the operation, we have excellent ophthalmologists in Greece and the most specialized hospital is in Heraclion Crete where they practice advance techniques on eye surgery.
If the problem is an eye cataract , it is considered a routine operation and all surgeon are very adept.
Of the links below the second and fourth have reference to the Cretan hospital.
The Cretan is the best bet if something more eleborate is needed. Check that out and if you have problem let me know.
