I have bad allergies too. My eye doctor gave me Patenol to use twice a day. You can use the drops with your contacts. It helps a lot. 2D
First, don't rub your eyes. Second, use a cool compress.
If you have seasonal allergies that last a few months, there are a few prescription drugs that can help you. Patanol works well if you use it consistently. Zaditor (which is OTC) works almost as well. Both of them are used twice a day -- maybe just before you put the contacts in and then just after you take them out.
