Eye helppppp!?!
Question: I scratched my eye with my nail when I was putting my shirt on. It took me about 5 minutes to be able to open it through all the tears and watering. I can see clearly. Should I do anything special to make sure its okay? I asked my brother to look at it, he said he didn't see any scratches, it just hurts badly.

eyeballs do heal pretty quickly,although i'm not a doctor i have injured my eye before,i scratched it with an unshapened eyeliner,i put a hot tea bag over my several times that day and it was better by that night,it did water alot but it was fine by the next day.
If it hurts that bad, go see a doctor. Better be safe than sorry. Goodluck.
Your eye will heal it self within 24hours. It is a soft tissue that regenerates in that amount of time or less. Flush it if necessary, there is ointment at the pharmacy that can help the hurt, but you should be fine.
It helps to cover it to help keep it closed, but, other than that there is pretty much nothing you can do but wait. Fortunately, eye surfaces heal quickly and a small scratch will be gone in twenty four to fourty eight hours. Check frequently to make sure that your nail wasn't dirty and created an infection in the eye. Good luck
my dog scratched my dads eye and we couldnt see anythign but his job made him go to the doctor and they said it was scratched so id go just to be sure..
That is very painful, ouch. Your eye is very tender. I would not do anything really. Best to ask a Doctor when it seems to feel worse.
