Acuvue is by far the preferred brand of contact lenses.
They are relatively better in terms of eye health, letting in more oxygen to your eye than any other brand, and in addition they are much softer, and keep your eye more moisturized for longer comfort.
I would recommend Acuvue Oasys. They are made with Hydraclear, which makes the lens more moist, smooth and comfortable. (these are 2-week disposable lenses).
If you like dailies, there is also the Acuvue MOIST, which feel amazing on the eye and give even more moisture. They are very expensive though, around $500+ for a year supply.
I think it depends on the shape of your eye, length of wear, and needs. I am very happy with my 3 month wear Cooper Vision Preference lenses especially since one of them is made to correct my astigmatism. I truly think it depends upon personal preference.
I totally agree with others. Acuvue Oayses is amazing. No doubt, every eye is different. I got contacts a few days ago, and i have very sensitive eyes. Acuvue Oayses are impossible to tell they are even on. occasionally i get dust or something on them but if you wiggle the contacts, it flushes. They are super comfy, and are 2 week disposables. different lens material act differently on individual eyes. you have to have a fitting done on you by a contact lens pratitioner to find the best lens for you.
based on personal experience, acuvue are comfortable but gets very dry hours into wearing it, with the exception of oasys. acuvue oasys is the best lens i've worn so far alongside focus night & day and O2 optix
