I got glasses.......?!

Question: I got glasses for the first time on Friday and I am 23 years old. They are just reading glasses, but when I do wear them to read or on the computer or to watch t.v. will it take me a while to get used to them when I do wear them?

Reading glasses are meant to be worn only for things within arms length.

Rule is, if you can't reach it with your hand, it is too far for your reading glasses.

The focal distance is usually set for about 18 -22 inches...so unless your face is stuck to the tv screen...they are not meant for tv.

yea...it will take a while. But soon you will get used to them because i have them myself. Are you farsighted or nearsighted?
