yeah but you have to be very responsible because contacts are delicate and you risk getting infections
Yeah, i guess. But they're expensive... i wouldnt recommend getting them unless you were going to wear them more than once.

contacts are expensive, but I like them better than glasses sometimes. the only prob would be remembering to take them out everynight. Which will harm your eyes very badly if you dont. That is the only worry i would have with a 12 yr old wearing contacts
Well, since you only want to wear contacts for one special occassion, ask your eye doctor if he can give you a "trial pair" (a free pair for you to try) and use those for that day. Your parents won't have to waste money on a box of contacts. Go make an appointment with your eye doctor and ask if he can "fit" you for contacts--- and ask for a trial pair so you can try them out.

Yes, it should be fine. If you are just wanting to wear them for special occasions, you could get the daily disposables...wear them once, and throw them away...no cleaning required.
You just need to see an eye doctor, so you can be fitted for them. Not everyone's pupils are the same size, so there isn't really a "one size fits all" when it comes to contacts. Contacts that aren't the right size for you can cause discomfort, eye infections, and worse. So as long as your doctor approves you for contacts, you should be fine for wearing them.
