I worked in Optics and there were contact lenses that changed the shape of the cornea to correct the vision. You wear a lens for a few days (to bed as well) and then a retainer lens every few days to maintain the shape. A couple of my colleagues were trialing it in the store I worked in. Orthokeratology can sometimes eliminate glasses (there is a limit, though, to how much prescription can be removed) but rather than being dependent on glasses you just become dependent on wearing the retainer lenses. So really you are just changing what you are dependent upon. There is a new surgery called ICL where the surgeon inserts an implantable lens INSIDE the eye. This can eliminate your eye glasses without any surgery to the cornea.
NO is the answer to this one I'm afraid. Dont waste your money on unproven adds if they worked eye specials in hospitals would be using them. GET SOME NICE SPEX OR TRY CONTACT LENSES
