How much does an Eye Exam cost?!
Question: Optometrist (to determine what your vision is) about $50-60. Ophthalmologist (to determine if you have any diseases/conditions of the eye), up to $200 (guessing), but ask first and see if they have lower rates for cash at time of visit. (Hey, they accept lower payments from insurance companies - why shouldn't they take a discount if you pay them on the spot).
If all you need to know is if you need glasses, go to an optometrist. They can let you know if you need the services of the ophthalmologist.

If you go to walmart is 50 dollars but i heard other places are free so you should still ask around Good luck:)
I went to a Wal-Mart Vision Center, and had an eye exam and contact fitting. The total for me was $91, and I don't have vision insurance. It included my exam/fitting, one trial pair of contacts, and a starter kit with solution and contact case. If you have insurance, your total could be less than that even.
