Answers: if the sizes don't match up exactly, should i go larger or smaller?

Always go by whatever size is stated on your prescription. That particular size is the size that fits you best. Getting a different size can cause discomfort a lot of times, and sometimes even eye infections. If the contacts you are looking at don't offer the EXACT size you need, then you need to keep looking and find a brand that does offer your exact size.

The online stores also call your doctor to verify your prescription (by law they have to do this), so if anything you have entered doesn't match up with your prescription, the company won't send you those contacts anyway- to protect themselves and you.

If in doubt, call your eye doctor's office...someone there should be happy to assist you with any questions you may have...and phone calls are always free, best of all.

If the sizes don't match up exactly you need to find a different company that sells the exact size. It is important to get the correct size so they fit properly.

Call your Eye Doctor and get the exact size. You need a valid prescription to order them online anyway. If it's been more than 2 years since you've been to the Doctor they won't fill the prescription. Yes, they will call the Doctors office to verify.

You should go by the prescription that was given to you by your Optometrist---if the size you have does not match up call & find outfrom Him/her as to what to do-----thy should have given you the brand name of contacts in which to buy that is best suitable for your eyes.
Good Luck!
