One pupil bigger than the other?!

Question: My eyes have been messed up since I was little. The pupil in my right eye is almost always slightly bigger than the pupil in my left eye. I also have blue eyes but I have a thick brown line in my right eye. Here's an example http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/co...

Is this normal? I hate it when people comment on it. Is there a cure?

What a cool looking eye. That's just the way your were born. I think it looks great. I love green eyes anyway. Don't listen to other people. You are one in a million.

Don't be so hard on yourself. Accept yourself the way you are. You are truly unique. Look at it this way....you have two eyes that can see the beauty around you every day of your life. Be grateful for that. There are thousands that would trade that eye for theirs.

Take care my friend.

wow!! thats pretty sweet!!

It's unique! Don't let people make you feel selfconscious about it. You aren't the only person in the world with 'unusual' eye coloring. Heck, some people even have a different color for each eye, the neighbor kids next door had an aunt with it.

As for the pupal dilation, has an eye doctor ever said anything about it? Perhaps they might know a way to make it more even. To have it suddenly is I think a sign of a concussion, but really I wouldn't worry about it too much if it's been that way forever.

it's called anisocoria. since you have it since you were young, there shouldn't be a problem. if you want to, you might want to get your eyes screened for marcus gunn syndrome, a condition whereby the sizes of the pupils are different and do not react to light as it should. but since you have already done so you have nothing much to worry about

One eye pupil larger than the other is called anisocoria and 20% have this condition normally. The brown spot on your eye is a freckle or nevus and is quite common. I would imagine that you are a freckly skinned person.
