Best way to clean my contacts?!
Question: It never fails.......I take them out at night and put them in the case with some optifree solution. The next morning when I go to put them back in it always takes a good 3-5 attempts. There is always something....dust, lint - some kind of irritant that I need to rinse off because it's irritating my eyes. Right now my Dr. says he prefers me to have the 2wk disposable kind so that's what I'm working with. Any ideas/suggestions?

FIRST THINGS FIRST...ALWAYS WASH YOUR HANDS. Then in the morning when you take the contacts out of the case, dump out the old solution and wipe out the case with a paper towel (DO NOT USE TOILET PAPER OR KLEENEX BECAUSE IT WILL LEAVE LINT AND OTHER DEBRIS IN CASE). Make sure before putting the contacts in your eye that you follow the optifree solution instructions. At night when you go to take your contacts out, fill the case with new solution and make sure to clean your lenses before putting them in the case. This will ensure that you are not getting the excessive lint into your cases or in your eye.
clean out your case before you use it with soap and water. then clean your contacts like you would before putting them in your eyes. but clean then with solution in your hand before you put them in the case. that should help get dust and things out of them.
It might not be that they aren't clean, but it could be the contact themselves. Have you tried another brand? If not, you may want to contact your Doctor and try another one... it wouldn't hurt to try!
i think u should clean it really good with cleaning solution bu tif that dont work u might need to see your eye doctor cuz your eyes might be getting worse or it might just be time to get new contacts. Make sure before u try to put them in, try washing your hands really good with water espiecally the tips of your fingers, but be CAREFUL DONT USE SOAP

Put them in your mouth and suck on them for a while. It works for a friend of mine.
I always clean the contacts case and put clean solution in there....otherwise there is old residue in there from the day b4. and b4 you put your contacts in there for night clean them with solution as well. when you put them back in once mornng comes make sure your hands are clean and everything should be fine....
