Is it always wierd the first time you..?!
Question: put on new glasses? Do your eyes need to adjust to a new prescription? Because I just got my new glasses today and my vision is a little distorted. Is this normal? How long does it take for the eye to adjust to a new prescription?

not long, my dad and sister found it weird for a while, but thety eventually got used to it. unless the optician gave u the wrong glasses. if it doesnt get better after a week, i'd talk to the optician
no it not will not for me
It will be weird if there has been a change in the prescription, if you have never worn glasses, if it has been a long time since you've worn glasses, and it also depends on the type of material the opticians used in the glasses. Yes your eyes would need to adjust to a new prescrption. It is normal. For single vision (anything not progressive lenses) it usually takes 48 hours to adjust and for progressive lenses it takes up to 2 weeks. If by those times they still seem weird call your optometrist to make an appointment so they can check the prescription and make changes if necessary.
Yeah, for me it usually takes a day or two.
I would give it a day. that is it. my last prescription was way different, and it took a day to feel comfortable. Your eyes should be comfortable, and not feeling like they are pulling one way or the other. If the glasses are not making your eyes relax, I would call the optometrist, and have them remade.
