Yup Yup. Be very clean about it tho.....Wash your hands and Clean them before putting them in and after taking them off, if not you could get eye infections(which are rare but cuased by poor hygine) Change the solution often. Also keep them lubricated, if not they may dry up. Have fun seeing without glasses!!!

I'm wearing contacts right now =)

I love them. they're realllly comfortable- you can't feel them at all. they don't take long to clean either. or if you don't want to clean them at all, you could use daily disposables. I use monthly because they're cheaper...

I was always terrified about contact lenses, but I overcame my fear by practicing just touching my eyeball lightly...that gets your eyes used to having something touch them.... I then proceded to get contact lenses...and I LOVE them...there is no way i am ever gonna go back to glasses. it takes me like 10 seconds to put them in now and i dont even think about it, You would do fine! It feels great being able to see without glasses...lol. If you give it a go, just want to tell you not to give up right away...you might spend alot of time in the beginning trying to put them in but after a week or so you will do it without even thinking about it. Good Luck!

Yes, but overall I found them more trouble than they were worth.
(except for some I built purely for windsurfing)
But that's just me.

Handling really isn't an issue once you get used to it.
(Like riding a bicycle, it's impossible until you can do it, and after that it's easy.)

Contacts do come with a slightly increased risk of eye infections, which multiplies if you neglect or abuse them.
They are massively better than specs for sport, and in the rain.
But, especially compared to soft lenses, glasses can often deliver sharper vision in other circumstances.

Yes, I've been using contacts for 6 years and I absolutely love them! The don't fall off or fog up like glasses do. Once you get the hang of it, they are so easy to use. I actually forget about my bad eyesight with contacts because you can't feel them at all.

I've always been a glasses person. . . just never comfortable with the idea of sticking something on my eyeball. I'm sure it's really not that bad once you do it a few times and I've heard it doesn't really feel that weird when they're on, though.

I work in/around some rather fun chemicals a lot (grad-student research), so I'd probably always have to be going back and forth all the time anyhow. It just seems easier in my case to pick one and stick with it.

my dad has had contacts but they are expensive and annoying
i prefer glasses because they slide right off and can have designer frames

Yes, it is great next to lasik

Yes I have tried them, and they stink. >=\ They take me forever to put them in, and when I do my eyes are all red and watery. It feels really uncomfortable, like something scratching your eyeball. You have to take them off before you go to bed too. Such a pain. And you have to clean them, OMG annoying. There's always hairs and fuzz and stuff on my contact lense, and I cannot get it off. Also it's hard to get them to stick on your eye. I hate putting them on, so I switched back to my glasses. I look better in glasses anyway....
