As far as how the contacts feel...if you feel pain while you're wearing them, you need to take them out. You shouldn't feel any pain when wearing any type of contacts. i don't know how much it costs to get them tinted but i have a friend who did that and she says that they don't bother her anymore than normal contacts did.
ordinary contacts are blue. the price depends on where you live. They hurt the first few times after that they're fine
