My contacts feel weird?!

Question: I finally decicded to get contacts...i put them on wuite easy and my eyes didn't water or anything. My right eye got used to it immediately but my left eye feel weird. Like i can feel the lense inside. And also when i move my eyes it gets blury, and also i can't open my eyes very much..like it is too bright. This is my second day...is this normal? I have another eye exam next week but untill then I have to wear them every day...anyways i just want to know if I am supposed to go throught this.

They could be inside out...flip em and try again. If that's not it, maybe your eyes are getting too dry. Try some eyedrops that are safe for use while wearing contacts; that will help add some extra moisture. It could also be that you are still getting used to the contacts...it can take some people up to 2 weeks to fully adjust to them. If things haven't gotten any better by your next exam, tell the doctor what you've been experiencing...he/she may want to try another brand or type of contacts with you.

What you are experiencing does sound normal for beginners though, so don't worry yourself too much...9 times out of 10 it will get better as you adjust to the contacts.

well when i got contacts it felt like that too except for the bright thing well just know that they are not as fragile as you think so just kinda move em around in your eye. also try to turn it inside out maybe you have it on inside out-thats what happens to me all the time-and make sure you have clean fingers, and clean contacts. oh you can try eye drops while the contacts are in too.

Sounds like you have it in 'inside out'. Take it out; clean it; flip it out' try again. Sometimes, it just needs to be cleaned again.
Good Luck; it gets much easier.
