Rash on eyelid -- what can be used for it?!
Question: I developed a rash in my eyelid -- oval shaped, slightly raised, very painful burning sensation. Also, my eye burns as well but has no redness.
Is it safe to put anything on the eyelid until I can see a doctor? My dr. can't see me until next Monday and I don't want to waste an urgent care physician's time since it's not seeming to be an emergency, and would like some comfort until then.

use ice packs for comfort, and you can try over the counter cortisone cream, just make sure you don't get it IN the eye.
Could be contact dermatitis or eczema. Over the counter steroid cram will make it go away.
